Bengals waive Kenny Irons

Surprising to me, but it seems the Bengals have waived Kenny Irons. I don't think he played much at all last year, if any, before his knee injury. I guess the Bengals couldn't wait for him to heal up, or perhaps the injury was bad enough to make it not likely he'll be able to recover. Its too bad, he was a great RB. Hopefully, he can recover and get picked up on another team.
Perhaps the whole running back by committee thing Les Miles does is a good thing since you don't get beat up so badly, especially in the SEC, like some of these running backs do that carry more of the load on other teams.

that run against LSU in the "John Vaughn Missed 5 freaking FGs game" where Kenny broke up the middle and then got turned around and took off with a slight high step for around 60 yards is still one of my all time favorite and exciting plays.
see the 3rd or 4th play on this tribute. I forgot he gashed LSU for 220+ yards UGA and Arkansas for 160+ yards.

Kenny is a cool dude, I spent alot of time hanging with him and Tony Bell down in Auburn. I hate to see this.

Maybe in the fallout of the Carson Palmer comments, the Ben-gals are trying to get rid of all non-OSU peeps.
