Interesting, the link shows both schools were nearly identical in average predictions.

Lanier, have you seen the latest photos of Prince Tega. Kid is huge and still to have Russell complete the bulking up once he arrives to Auburn.

I had a blast calling out that chump DE y'all had who talked all the smack about Clowney 1st, but couldn't do anything to back up his claims at the combine...or the draft. What's that guy doing now, I can't remember his name or if he's even in the NFL.
Dee Ford?

Rookie Numbers

Dee Ford: 7 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 50 snaps
Jadeveon Clowney: 7tackles, 0 sacks, 146 snaps

College Numbers (final year)

Dee Ford: 29 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks
Jadeveon Clowney: 29 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks

He was also a first round pick. I think the cock went through his ear into his brain.

Yeah, that dude was completely off base.

Dee Ford had freak numbers and has outproduced Jadeveon Clowney in two consecutive years, college and pro.

They say he is good runner, but not elusive like Marshall.

Have not seen it in actual game time at the collegiate level however.

Dee Ford?

Yeah, that's him. Right before the NFL Combine: "I'm better. Let's put it like this. People like to talk about size all the time. Size is pretty much overrated in my eyes," Dee Ford said in regards to Clowney.

I like stats too.

Clowney's 3 Years at SC.
130 Tackles, 47 TFL's, 24 Sacks, 7 PD's, 1 FR, 9 FF's.

Fords 5 Years at Auburn.
93 Tackles, 27.5 TFL's, 20.5 Sacks, 3 PD's, 0 FR, 3 FF's.

NFL Combine Numbers (not fictional pro-day/my coach timed me numbers)
Clowney's numbers were run independently at the combine and electronically measured. Ford ran at a pro day, b/c he conveniently had some trainer who wouldn't clear to participate in the Combine. However, as luck would have it, he could be a full go for the auburn Pro Day a few weeks later with auburn coaches timing and measuring.

What did all this result in:

Clowney - 1st Round, #1 Overall
6/6/2014: Signed a four-year, $22.272 million contract. The deal is fully guaranteed, including a $14.518 million signing bonus. 2015: $510,000 (+ $$922,409 roster bonus), 2016: $600,000 (+ $1,844,818 roster bonus), 2017: $690,000 (+ $2,767,227), 2018: Club Option,

Dee Ford - 1st Round, #23 Overall
5/24/2014: Signed a four-year, $8.158 million contract. The deal included a $4.253 million signing bonus. 2015: $790,850, 2016: $1,161,700, 2017: $1,532,550,

...and don't even get me started on endorsement $$$$ Jadeveon Clowney Becomes Face Of Wilson Football, and Puma...this is pushing up towards 9 figures in difference.

What happened to the part of your post where you said "but couldn't do anything to back up his claims at the combine...or the draft" when referring to Dee Ford? You didn't acknowledge his beastly numbers and draft position, and you were completely wrong in regards to your previous post.

Dee Ford appeared in 36 games, Jadeveon Clowney appeared in 36 games. Per ESPN. Dee Ford faced a ton of injuries at Auburn and sat behind All-SEC players like Antonio Coleman and Corey Lemonier.

Now you're talking about money? Wow, OK then.

Couple of facts: Dee Ford's measurables were freakish, as you haven't acknowledged, and he outproduced Jadeveon Clowney in 2013 (college) and 2014 (NFL).

Why do I have to repeat myself. Ford talked all kinds of smack BEFORE the Combine about Clowney and how he was better...then when it was time for the Combine Dee Ford DID NOT participate.... I give two-shits what his college coach said he ran at their Pro Day, and I reckon NFL teams didn't either, b/c he WAS NOT drafted higher than Clowney.

Dee Ford=5 Seasons (on and off) Clowney=3 Seasons
Also, don't tell me who Dee sat behind....Melvin Ingram and Devin Taylor say wassup. Both our guys were All SEC and actually drafted into the NFL and are still there....

Here come the excuses.
 Now I know you're messing with me....you don't actually think Pro Day numbers are as legit as Combine numbers....do you?!?!?

You're trying to create an argument based on data from one season, fine, I'll play.
Clowney had a better Freshman season than Ford, by A LOT, when you look at Ford's Fr year stats.
Clowney had a better Sophomore season than Ford, by A LOT, when you look at Ford's Soph year stats.
Clowney had a better Junior season than Ford, by A LOT, when you look at the Ford's Jr Year stats.
You could take all Ford's stats through 5 college seasons and 1 Pro season, and they still wouldn't equal Clowney's 3 years in college.
