there hardly ever is a slam dunk hire available. saban was only available by circumstance. ditto for harbaugh. great coaches have their "fiefdom" already established and are not itching to move on.

Hell, the way Alabama has recruited, they'll be able to hire Les Miles after Saban leaves and at least back into one more national championship.
