Cause the ACC sucks?

Do i need to remind everyone that the ACC has won a national title more recently than the SEC and dominated us during the last few weeks of the regular season then in the bowl games? I think the ACC is a better conference as a whole than the Big 10 is. I'd still put them 3rd behind the Big 12 though.

uhh the PAC 12 is the second best conference

But it doesn't really matter what program it is, 4 10+ win seasons is hard as hell to do. Dabo is a very good coach

I honestly believe Pruitt's a much better coach than Smart. If there's one Saban assistant that should be under consideration to be the next Bama head coach, it should be him. His work at Florida State and Georgia has been nothing short of remarkable and the play of Bama's secondary has declined tremendously since he left the program. He's going to be a really good head coach one day.

I disagree. I think they're even with the ACC. Outside of Oregon nobody really stands out to me. Maybe Arizona now that Rich Rod has them going a little.

Hasn't Kiffin already been given opportunities as a HC & every stop was a disaster in one way or another?

He has rustled so many Au jimmies you will mostly see Au fans trashing Dabo. They hate him because of his Bama ties and the rustling he's done to them over the years. It's comical to see them come out of the woodworks whenever Dabo is mentioned on here.i

What? We would just love to see him take over at Alabama.

He beat a mediocre Auburn team in 2011 and then an awful Auburn team in 2012.

Arizona State is doing pretty damn well, and Washington will be back under Petersen. UCLA has had some success too, although I think they're overrated.

Why does everyone say Dabo is a bad coach? He's won his conference, a BCS bowl and has won 10+ games for 4 years in a row.

I think a lot of people's concern about Dabo is because a lot of people believe that Chad Morris had a lot to do with that success. It's a lot like Chizik and Malzahn. I think it is pretty obvious who the PTB at Auburn attribute the 2010 NC to considering they fired Chizik, only to replace him with his offensive coordinator from that time. The same can be said with Dabo and Morris.

Yes. But if Bama chose him as their head coach-in-waiting, you know Bama fans will make every excuse in the world as to why it's a good idea.

Most the time there isn't some big time homerun hire out there. That's why coaching changes are scary for any program

I wouldn't hate Dabo because he has been very successful at Clemson, but I wouldn't be thrilled. I think Morris had too much to do with his success.

I was wondering when this post would come.

The point is that he DID beat auburn the last 2 times y'all have played and fairly decisively too.

Also his four straight 10 win or better seasons is TWICE what auburn has ever done in your ENTIRE HISTORY.

Either would probably do ok, but not great. Maybe average 9-10 wins a season and an sec title and playoff appearance every 4-5 years. I think we will go hire the best coach out there, whether it's a college or pro coach when the time comes. Hopefully some young guys will emerge in the next few years.

Hit a nerve, huh?

Bama fans don't have to dick-ride Clemson or any one else for that matter, we have more 10+ win seasons than any one.

Jimbo Fisher may get a call.

To answer the question, I think neither is the HCIW.
