Sumlin is the one that has to show he's worth the money, in short order.

You pay a coach 5 mil a year and he's not expected to win at least ten games a year?

This here. If Les has a .500 type season he'll have the following season to get it right or be gone unfortunately.

Saban doesn't fire coordinators, he reassigns them.

No. That is just the going rate in Texas.

Richt could get canned if UGA underperforms for a couple years.

Doubt it. They under-perform most years and they keep giving him raises.

I figure as long as he keeps pushing Aubbie's shite in on a consistent basis, he is probably safe...

Agree- scenarios that result in Less getting fired next yr really aren't in play.

I just don't see UGA ever firing Richt on a side note.

There we go. One prediction for 7-5. I'll try to remember this is here.

I think we win 9 this year.

You guys would have laughed people out of the building had someone predicted you finished 6th last year in the West, but then reality happened...

Sean Patterson after Ole Miss realizes he doesn't really do much other than cling to his brother's coat tails.

I feel like this upcoming season is the last season Sumlin will be able to win 7 games and not be fired. If the ags only win 7 games this year he will definitely be on the hot seat the following year.

All that said, I think sumlin has made the necessary moves to keep the above from happening. I see an 8 or 9 win season this year being the most likely scenario, with the possibility of double digit wins if things break in our favor.

Sumlin doesn't need 10 wins, but he would also have fans turn on him with a couple majorly disappointing years. (Ie, two more 8 win seasons could get him canned. Maybe.)

Thats suprising. The amount he is getting paid I figured there would be higher standards.

Stoops is fine. Went from 2 to 5 in one season. We expect bowling this season.

Mason and Sumlin will be on the hot seat. Miles and Richt will do what they do every year and stay afloat.
