Yeah this is BS --- since I live in PA I had to buy a whole extra tier of cable package and even then it does not include the alternate channels!

I would tell you about hooking up the computer to the tv with a HDMI cord, but I don't want you to hurt yourself.

Not really. Missed some he should have caught.

Burton has showed out though. I have been very impressed with him.

Yeah, great showing by JJ... but he's gonna have to put another yard or two of air on those long throws so his WRs don't have to slow down for them.

His long ball is going to be intercepted if he doesn't work on it.

Burton has been living up to d Craig hype. Looks like an Emory Blake type solid receiver.

I don't know what game your watching...it's not close at this point

Re-read my post. I never once said it was close in this game. You are missing my point. Basing the opinion off of this game is silly. JJ looked much worse than White has today, last year. Then we saw how he played against Arky. Would you say JJ didn't battle last year?

I agree that one game reaction would be silly. My opinion came from adding his performance in this game with what we have seen in the past...composed, accurate, good chemistry with wideouts etc. he looked like a solid veteran out there while Sean look like a RS freshman. The word out of camp was the race was close and Sean was pushing him for playing time. The fact is it isn't even close and the word out of camp was just "coach speak".

I'm as big a fan of Sean as anyone and I look forward to his chance in two years. But right now it's the JJ show. WDE

JJ played well... there was a couple of series where he tried to force things to Duke... Still he throws a GREAT ball, quick release, and on the money. The Running Backs looked great, but mosts Running Backs look great against an Auburn D.

A Day quotes of note LINK
quote:

HC GUS MALZAHN

On moving forward from spring practice

"Our two coordinators will give an evaluation of where we are. We’ll meet individually with each guy. The big picture we set out in spring, I think we accomplished that with our effort, our attitude, our body language. Just setting the standard. I really like where we are. We have all kinds of areas we need to improve on, but at least as coaches we know what they are."

On expectations for next season

"We are fairly inexperienced. We are going to have some freshman that will be a part. We have a chance to get better each game. I like where we are. When we get this new, talented group of freshmen coming in, I think this team will have a chance to improve throughout the year. I think that’s the key to winning championships. I think we have a chance to do that."

QB JEREMY JOHNSON

On his confidence in the offense

"I'm very confident As long as we make plays vertically down the field, we are going to be very successful. Today was fun. It was a fun day for our fans. We have the best fans in college football, and we just try to give them the best show."

On his performance in the game

“I played OK. I didn’t perform to my best. It was really about giving our receivers a chance and let them make plays down the field.”

QB Sean White

On the quarterback race

"I don't really get into all that. When they tell e to play, I'll play. That's pretty much all I can control."

On missing WR Duke Williams on a some throws

“It was just underthrowing him. Like I said, it is plays we have to make to be successful. We are going to get better.”

WR DUKE WILLIAMS

On the team’s performance

“It felt good to be back. I felt like we could have did some stuff better, but we have fall camp to get better. I was pleased with the way we played.”

On his touchdown catch

“It felt good to connect with Jeremy. When he threw it up, I had my eyes locked in. I just had to make the catch.”

OT ROBERT LEFF

On his performance in a starting role

“There’s room for improvement. I had a lot of fun. I did better than I had hoped.”

On the atmosphere

“It’s kind of quiet during scrimmages so it’s nice to get out there and have the fans.”

WR MYRON BURTON JR.

On his improvement

“I’m not even close to the same wide receiver I used to be. Coach (Dameyune) Craig is a genius. Melvin (Ray) and Duke help me. I am a better wide receiver than ever.”

On his redshirt season[/b]

“I had a lot of time to develop. A lot of things I didn’t know then I know now.”

LB CAMERON TONEY

On his performance

“I think I did good coming back from an injury.”

On DC Will Muschamp

“He brings intensity. I think we are going to have a year on the defensive side.”

DT DONTAVIUS RUSSELL

On defensive line’s performance

“I felt like we did pretty good. We got to the quarterback a couple of times.”

On his personal goals

“Just trying to contribute. I feel that accolades come as your team has success. As long as the team is successful, I will be successful.”

S RUDY FORD

On defense's improvement

“We have improved on running to the football. Our defense is enthusiastic. We are going to be one of the top defenses in the country.”

QB TUCKER TUBERVILLE

On getting an opportunity to play

“It was fun to be out their with my teammates in front of great fans. You have a lot of playmakers and the best play-caller in college football.”

WR RICARDO LOUIS

On his ability to stretch the field

“It was a little flash today.”

On the quarterbacks

“Both of them showed a lot of confidence today.”

RB ROC THOMAS

On running north-south

“That was a point of emphasis for me. I need to run more north-south, than east-west."

On the offensive line

“I feel like the offensive line did great and made it easier on us as running backs. We don’t have to second guess.”

DT MONTRAVIUS ADAMS

On defense’s new attitude

“With Coach Muschamp coming in, he brought so much energy that we have no choice but to get our edge back. With our performance today, I think we got some of it.”

On getting to the quarterback

“We have been working on that a whole lot. We have been working so hard. We have no choice but to be a better.”

S TRAY MATTHEWS

On playing in front of the A-Day crowd

"It felt great. We have great fans, and it's an overwhelming feeling. I'm taking advantage of every opportunity I have."

On defense’s improvement

“We’ve improved tremendously. Muschamp showed us a clip from last year, and it was just a whole different intensity this year.”

On the defense as a whole

"It's scary how much potential this team has. I can't stress enough the potential of this team. People ask him how I'm doing, and I say 'I'm doing great, but I have so many good players around me.' Our defense is awesome."

Mine says it's supposed to be playing right now from 9-11 PM.

Instead, SEC Now is still playing and I'm watching highlights of some horeshit tennis match with two chicks trying to slap around a couple of balls. Whores.
