I was driving to work this morning and I noticed a cop car with lights and sirens on trying to get through traffic. People on the road just stopped and boxed him in. They didn't move right like you're supposed to do. Why is it that people these days are too stupid to understand basic driving rules?

I hate this and when slow drivers on the Interstate refuse to get in the right lane.

There's is nothing worse than a person who slows down on the ramp to merge.

There's a law against clogging the hammer lane in MS, and if I were a cop that's all I'd write too.

How about when people see a cop with a car pulled over on the highway and they all hit their breaks and go 10 miles under the speed limit for the next five miles.

"Ermagerd, I forgot that cops exist, I better slow down"

And if they do give up the passing lane and move right, they speed up. The urge to push them off the road comes to mind sometimes.

The zipper merge when a travel lane is blocked.

Everybody has to stop as soon as they see the lane will be blocked and change lanes. Then if you do the proper thing and drive all the way up to the lane closer to merge, everyone gets all pissy and won't let you in.

I hate it when people turn into a road and do not stay in the correct lane. If you are turning left at a interception, do you cross three lanes. Get in the inside lane and move over once its clear

Lights on while it's raining

The worst I deal with on a daily basis as someone who walks their dog twice a day, yield to fricking pedestrians

I don't get how people think it is safe to do that. You need to be up to speed with the flow of traffic.

Alot of people don't know the rules of the road. It is very easy to get a drivers license. So to answer, no, they likely don't understand the basic rules.

But that is what you get with lax standards for drivers licenses.

A yield sign means you STOP for on coming traffic.

Unless posted, you can make a right turn at a red light.

In Germany....it takes about a year to get a drivers license. You have to go to school for it and it costs over 1000 Euros.

Could be more or less now as that was in the late 90's early 2000's when my cousin got hers. .

As long as you make sure it's clear to do so, I would rather you go ahead and get in the lane you want to be in.

People not knowing what a passing lane is bothers me the most. If you're on the interstate and in the left lane, you need to be passing somebody. The absolute worst is when they are going the exact speed as the car in the right lane and they refuse to speed up or slow down to get over.

We can add people who park on streets where there's clearly no parking. Especially in a high traffic area where it fricks with the flow of traffic.

And people who drive under the speed limit. Just spent 10 minutes behind this a-hole going 20 in a 45 zone who was texting on his phone. And there was too much traffic in the left lane to try to pass.

In some states, like Texas, it's illegal to drive in the left lane.
