I've only heard of two of the movies on your list.....and Jurassic World would be well behind Star Wars and Avengers only in a tie.

Not even gonna lie. I got goosebumps when they showed the crashed-out Star Destroyer on the non-Tattooine desert planet.

What makes you think that wasn't Tattooine? Not enough Tunisia, too much Colorado?

They cant film this stuff in the mideast anymore.

Sand People.

They walk single file to conceal their numbers.

No, the fact that the producers at Celebration expressly said that it was another planet.

ETA - Apparently it's called Jakku, and it'll be featured in the Battlefront 3 game that releases in November.

hope the Abrams project lives up to the Star Wars tradition better than his Star Trek reboot did.

I thought the Abrams Trek movies were great, and I'm a heavy ST critic.

As to the haters in the thread - y'all can frick yourselves in the ear till your brains rattle. Being a SW fan and loving Georgia football aren't mutually exclusive. I think it's inane to watch a Ford Taurus drive in a giant circle for 4 hours. You might feel differently about that. It's what makes the world go 'round.

If you couldn't tell the difference between a White Walker and an Imperial Walker, feel free to check out of the conversation.
