Lsu has pitching, but too young.

I see supers, but not cws.

Maybe next year.

Probably but if we can find a consistent offensive game we can make a lot of noise.

I think LSU is one maybe two pitchers away from being extremely dominant. Our bullpen has struggled at times and if Bain can come in on Sunday and pitch well consistently then LSU has a real good shot.

The LSU offense is is hitting with a purpose, but LSU has not played the toughest part of the schedule yet.

Time will tell

I am hoping for a good run to the CWS for LSU but i am thinking aggy might take it this year. It hurts me to say that.

VU is 2 arms short, due to injury & Tyler Ferguson having big time struggles to start the season the bullpen situation is scary IMO. That said the recent slump VU is in (lost 4 of 5) is not because of pitching ERA in those games is 2.94 its the bats going quiet.

It's baseball though and I would much rather have a slump here midseason than late in the year like in 2013.

You're right. The Dores are just doing a lot of stuff right now that will get you beat. Game 2 of the Ole Miss series is the perfect example. Buehler goes 8 innings, gives up 1 run, and K's 13. Yet the bullpen blows a 5-1 lead in the 9th via walks, a HBP, and a dinger. Then, in extras, they can't get a run home with the bases loaded and no outs (2 K's and a flyout).

An erratic bullpen and lack of execution will get you beat more often than not.
