Every once in a while you come across a player that seems unstoppable no matter what you do to defend him.

In this 2001 edition of the Alabama-LSU rivalry, that player was LSU's Josh Reed.

Probably helped him win the Biletnikoff that year, (and vs Illinois in Sugar Bowl)...

This was also the first time in roughly 25 years LSU had beaten Bama at home. What a strange series we have with each other

You beat us at Bryant-Denny in 1993 and 1997.

What a great game that was for Tiger fans. At the time, it was about the best offensive game LSU had ever had against Bama. A few years later Miles' 2007 team scored 41, which I believe is the only time LSU has ever broken 40 on a Bama defense.

Bama defense all-time.

I made us all late to my wife's older brothers birthday party in hopes of some sofrt of miraculous comeback. From that point until Labor Day weekend 2007 , I despised Nick Saban and all associated with him.

If LSU had Rohan last year we would have been a totally different team

I don't think y'all ever scored 40+ on us until Muschamp showed up.

I was a tyke back in 1971, but I was at Tiger Stadium for LSU's 48-7 beatdown of the Gators that year.

'71 game featured Reaves and Alvarez of UF I believe, and Bert Jones and Tommy Casanova of the Tigers.
Rummel's Norman Hodgins returned a Gator punt 86 yards - the then second longest in Tiger history....

I thought this was the 2000 game. Coldest game I've ever been to.

That was the 30 -28 game in Death Valley. Don't remember it as being particularly cold...
