I'm talking about the gumps that weren't fans when you were bad. The ones that started slurring, "that's mah teem." starting in 2008 and will inevitably become Auburn fans and fans of others teams when Bama starts swinging the other way.
There's a lot of bandwagon Bama fans, that's not taking away anything from the legit fans. But there's a lot of bandwagoners.

In Chattanooga, all you ever saw was UT fans with a few Georgia fans sprinkled in and maybe a Bama or Auburn fan every now and then. Then 2008 happened and I can't drive down Gunbarrel in the fall without passing a pack of gumps piled into their minivan covered with Bama flags, houndstooth hat stickers and 'Got 15?' magnets all over it.
