How long can we ride this sucker?
Is there a team up to the task of handing us our first loss right now? I mean, I know it's coming sooner or later, but when?
Who will it be?
Looking at the schedule I'm guessing the A's or Sox finally break through. I just don't know how long these guys can keep hitting, pitching and playing defense like this.

That Detroit team is legit.
I think people were underselling the Royals a little in the off season. Im not sure they can keep pace with the Tigers over the long haul but they should be fighting for a wildcard spot at least.

I just don't know. I think KC has just as strong a pitching rotation and bullpen. The big ? is if the bats can keep going. We know Detroit can be consistent but can KC? We pretty much stayed with them last season towards the end to secure a wildcard birth. We had 89 wins to their 90 in regular season. We were 6-13 against though. But between July and August, KC went 25-9. That's not bad.

I follow the Royals. I watch as many games as I can each year on MLBtv.
The one thing I noticed last year and continued into this year was the maturation of Hosmer and Moustakas as hitters, especially going into the stretch run last year. Adding Rios and Morlaes and seeing Cain really come into his own, I think the bats will be better and more consistent this year.
I just dont know if the "experts" really havent watched this team or what but almost two a person they are writing off the defending AL champs even though they have clearly improved areas of their ball club.
If I had to pick a Central winner it would be Detroit but for people to act like the Royals wont have a say seems head scratching to me.

No, it's a problem for both. I'm not trying to start a fight. Just a request. I don't think it has any place here, but I get it and Reedus has pinned two threads. Just think it would be best not to push the board relevant threads down with Royals/Cards threads. There are plenty of places to discuss both.

Step one. Pull the titanic size corn cob out of your arse.
Step two. If you don't like the thread, there are a few avenues you can take. One would be not posting in the thread. Another would be to talk to reedus about deleting the thread.
Step three. If you want to keep "Mizzou Sports Relevant" topics towards the top of the page, then keep posting something in them. If they seem to fall, then that probably means they are not relevant anymore, or people are tired of talking about it. In example, the recent KA bashing that went on for months. Same crap said over and over and over. Yeh, that's what I want in a message board. But hey, at least it was Mizzou related right?
I would suggest all three steps. As a matter of fact, I may start another thread to have this thread deleted so that you don't have to "look like or be that guy". I didn't realize this was such a huge issue. Then I might suggest we should pass a Mizzou message board law that no off topic Non Mizzou related threads will be created ever. We'll call it the "JesusQuintana Law". I'm sure that would keep posters from posting off topic non Mizzou related topics.

Here's the deal...it is a Mizzou board, meaning a place for Mizzou fans to congregate. While a vast majority of the threads are, will be and should be about Mizzou, they aren't all going to be about Mizzou. Having said that, we did pin the 2 threads for the Cards and Royals with the hopes that we wouldn't have a ton of threads on either team...and we haven't.
But certainly, if something unique or special pops up and you want to create a thread on it, do it. If the first page gets to be dominated by Cards/Royals threads, I'll anchor them.

Dude, you come into someones threads to try and basically shut it down, what do you think will happen?
I made my suggestions to your request. I'm not pissed, just defending what I consider and appropriate thread on a sports related board. Cards and Royals are Missouri sports teams also, one just happens to be undefeated right now.

I love the Royals...but trying to look at it from an objective point of view. There is always cards threads popping up, and I've never seen a Royals fan say "take this somewhere else". We are all a fan of Missouri, and there happen to be pro teams here.
I like all my sports topics in one place, makes it so much easier.
