It seems like most are already writing LSU off for the 2016 season. No QB, new DC, and Les Miles all factor into LSU being sold low right now. However, I would caution anyone from dismissing the corndogs

LSU accomplished more with Jordan Jefferson and Lee than they did with Mett. I don't think LSU has to have great QB play just serviceable. If they're defense shows up I can see them playing spoiler in the West

They get Auburn in Baton Rouge and I'm pretty sure Lesticles sold his soul in exchange for never losing a home game to Auburn again. I have no faith in the Aggies to be relevant and the Mississippi schools are rebuilding.

If Les beats Bama and Auburn LSU fans will bow at his throne even if it doesn't get him to Atlanta

If they get some decent QB play the'll definitely be contending for a playoff spot

A 9-3 season this year headed into a Bowl Game will buy Les another season. He'll need to compete for a NC the season after or we'll politely ask him to call it a career in Tiger Town.

Believe what you want. But 8-4 will cause serious controversy and a big negative for this program and his tenure. 8-5 ain't exactly in the budget, but two years of 16 combined wins? That'd be the lowest two year aggregate win total of his career at LSU, and happening right now with this talent would be grounds for him really getting used to his vacation spot he built in Destin a few years ago.
