One program goes 8-5 and it's considered a decline. One program goes 7-5 it's considered average and not even talked about. Another program goes 6-6 and it's the best season in years.

Oh my.....

How about 2 programs that go 8-5 but one is the victor in it's bowl game.

Did these two "hypothetical" teams play head-to-head? If they did, that should settle which one is better.

LSU has been on a slow and steady decline since 21-0. That's three years of decline now in both the W-L record and National rankings.......

I keep trying to add up the record of the 6-6 team in the OP but wasn't it a 7-6 team after a bowl victory? And why do I get 17.0 when I add that team into the equation?

anything with the numbers 17 and 0 in it doesn't compute anymore to lsu tigers. Swamp Cat defense mechanism.
