Continuing the "Thoughts on..." thing, figured Kelly would be an interesting one.

He's only gonna get better going into his third year as a starter. I'm not a fan of him not hitting that 300lb mark at 6'5", and he's been pushed around his fair share of times in the run game. That said, he has the athletic ability to be a good pass protector and get on guys in our ZBS. He knows the calls and will be a crucial part of the success of the OL this season.

Hope he continues to be a presence in the newly featured "Auburn" offense. When Kiffin calls up a long stretch of run-plays, though, he needs to grow some and get the job done. This has to be Cristobal's big evaluation year, right?

I'd think so, though he's so good as a recruiter if possible I'd keep him anyway and just hire a good OL coach as well, have them be "Co-OL" coaches.

Now, Saban probably wouldn't do that, but I would

Spent more time in the backfield the last 2 seasons than Yeldon

Chad Lindsey was far better. Kelly is a more athletic Center but that isn't how we play. We need to find someone else.
