I'll be in Atlanta on Sunday and need a haircut. Any recommendations on a place to get a professional/executive style cut?

Most places are closed on Sunday unless want to go to a Great Clips type place.

I just go to great clips, the one by me has a woman there who gives me a perfect cut everytime so I don't really GAS that it's not a fancy place.

2 of my friends who are hellbent on going to nicer type places to a place either called the shave or the strand, I can't remember which one it is. But apparently it's some fancier place that gives good cuts. They always get the same gay guy who they swear by.

I've been to The Shave before (don't know if it's the same one). They're good and not terribly expensive, but they don't take reservations. I go to Val's Vinings. Pretty similar to The Shave, plus you can make reservations online. But it honestly just depends what part of Atlanta the OP will be in. It's not worth driving across Atlanta to get a haircut.

No shite, maybe the location he's staying would help narrow it down a bit...

The place that you wanna go if you're in Buckhead will prolly be different than the place you'll wanna go if you're staying on Fulton Industrial Boulevard...

Actually it would be for me. have huge meeting this week and don't want to take any chances.

Flying in this morning, staying in Gwinnett. I'll look up a few of the places mentioned so far.

Seriously? I normally stay in Alpharetta, but didn't want to fight the morning traffic. Can't be any worse than north Druid hills / Decatur area.

I'm just playing. There are certain areas like Buford Hwy that are like that. Do you know what area of Gwinnett you're staying at? It's a huge county and has every part of the melting pot of America that you can imagine

that's the truth. Depending on what part of Gwinnett you're in, you may mistake your surroundings for:

-1970s rural alabama
-old 4th ward downtown atlanta
-Guadalajara
-taiwan

Haha. I have no idea. I thought Gwinett was a city.

Hilton Gardne Inn Sugarloaf.
