Just want to be clear on something. LSU doesnt have a bad offense we are actually quite loaded .. We just don't have a qb, yes very key position but I know it cant get any worse than it was last year no matter who it is.

This just makes my blood pressure skyrocket. Watching so much taltent come through here to get wasted with poor qb play is brutal, and has happened way to much under Miles. Hopefully one of Harris/Jennings show up.

The Lincolns had a nice time at the theater. Sure, there was that whole "Abe got shot in the head" thing. But, the actors were terrific and the theater seats were quite comfortable.

I'm not asking for Russell-like play, I'd be happy with Flynn-like play.

We have better RB's now anyway.

It should make you think of aTm's defense. Both are incompetent.

I'd rather this thread be about the baseball offense

Two OL that turned down NFL Draft Ratings that indicated 3rd round or better at Tackle. A Third OL who was 5-Star out of HS and as a True Junior has two year's of starting experience at every position on the field. Will be a very high draft pick as well.

Five Star TB, with a high-4 Star back here as an Early Enrollee, with another high-4 Star back on his way in June along with the Under Armor All American Game MVP coming with him at TB as well. High 4-Star Derek Dillon may get a looksee in June at TB as well.

Two 4 Star WR's and a 5-Star WR in the two deep at both WR's positions with a 5-Star in Tyron Johnson sent to report in June.

Two former 5-Star TE's in Jacory Washington and DeSean Smith.

With all of this talent, our passing offense finished 116th out of 119 or 120 programs last year. With all of the 5 Star TE talent we have that's redshirted and savvy, we start a 300 pound TE that acts as a 3rd Tackle to shade the C Gap on almost every single play.

At QB, we have a kid who can't play that is outplaying a kid who could DOMINATE for TTU or Baylor or TAMU as well more than likely. The kid whose being outplayed is being forced into a system that nobody at this levels runs and that quite frankly is an anachronism in today's college football.

We run 22 Belly Dive off the A-Gap about 7 times/game. We run Toss Dive Plays that no one-on any level of football-has ever thought enough to replicate.

The fish rots-or swims-from the head. On offense, we rot, and that's on Les.

We dominate because we have staggering talent that's physical and developed thanks to Moffitt and the S&C guys. We have other-worldly talent on Defense that's being coached at an elite level.

That's why we win. We don't win because we have a good offensive strategy or system. We win on Defense and through brute strength that requires no true scheme and provides us zero schematic advantage versus our opponents.

When we play teams of commensurate talent, we have no advantage in coaching. Which is why we haven't competed for a championship in 3 years.

I agree with everything but our past defenses required scheme, look at how we made Manziel go to his left in 2013, and in 2012 went to a 3-4, blitzed a linebacker and nickel back and dropped our two ends into a QB spy to take A&Ms all world tackles out of the game as far as pass blocking is concerned. Chavis did wonders for us schematically, that's one thing that cannot be taken away from him

Let me clarify. We have scheme, development, recruiting and coaching on defense. Where that same cannot be said is on offense.

Sorry for the confusion.

Agree, OP. I, for one, have never once doubted LSU's ability to be offensive.
