No problem. I'll trade Tarrant for the big center who is on the market from Memphis all day long.

Can we assume that Simon was the new assistant that was coming for the visit? Do we know when the visit is/was?

He visited for sure. Read it in an article. Don't know the exact date though. Also Kentucky just offered Josh Langford.

You don't leave to go to Dematha to return to a program like Alabama.

If this was football you bet your arse we would be, but I just dont see it in basketball..jmo

Here's Johnson talking to the media before the caravan tonight. His answer to the question about new challenges is interesting. He talks about how the internal staff has to change their mindset before we'll have success externally. I guess Grant and the athletic department minions had a loser's mentality towards the basketball program.

Because the school he was signed with told him, no.. perhaps. Not saying he wouldn't ever had made it to Auburn but they clearly wasn't his 'first' choice.

Not saying we can't or won't recruit him but unless he shows true interest I just doubt they dropped whatever they are doing and start beating on his door every hour trying to sale a new pitch to him.

Honestly, I think it's pretty obvious at this point.

Hopefully the Nick King visit goes well.

May have already been discussed, but what is Nick king's game like? And I'd imagine he'd have to sit out a year correct?

Edit- nick king not nick young

You talking about Nick King? He's got a 3-4 tweener body type somewhat like Hale and Norris though he's more primarily focused inside the paint if you just look at his stats. In his two year career at Memphis, he only shot 40 3s. From what little film I've watched on him, he looks way more athletic than both Hale and Norris.
