Translation: We've been shite in the secondary for two years now compared to our standard. Our starting CB is out for the Spring, I'm gonna make sure they don't get complacent.
It'll at least be better than the last two years. It may not end up where we want it, but it'll be good. This is classic Saban.

Looks like pretty standard coachspeak to me. It's not a ringing endorsement but not exactly a 'we still suck there,' statement either.
