We elected a Senator who was dead here in Missouri.
Strangely enough, his plane crashed near Hillsboro, MO.

Just goes to show you how smart Mizzou folks are; elect someone that can't frick them over. Now we would do this for POTUS we could recover from decades of retarded Presidents.

You can't believe how hard I laughed at this
Because it is so true. We Missourians are super nostalgic. But from a political aspect, it is a genius move. The party likely wouldn't be able to get a legit candidate who could garner votes, so by electing a dead guy, they can either (depending on rules) A. appoint someone to the position or B. Get more time for a special election, thus giving the new candidate time to win votes.
