We will hear tomorrow on how "one and done" is killing College Basketball. Base on this article, (2013) it has only effected 51 players from 2006-2012. With over 350 Division I Schools, each averaging `4 incoming Freshman each year, there is less than 1% of the Freshman class effected. The only school hurt by the one and done, is the same school that markets it (KY).

It is not, but it is heavy with KY players.

So what is the point of the thread? More then anything, Kentucky has done extremely well with the "one and done" philosophy...and our APR is not even close of taking a hit.

Because of the comments by Wisc Coach on "rent a player" and some of the ESPN talking heads complaining, I thought it was more widespread. After looking at the stats closer, it has zero effect on the game as a whole.

My bad. Oh, Bo Ryan is just pissed because the "rent a player" wouldn't even consider Wisky.

Carry on, excuse my dumbassery

I don't like it. Makes the game feel more pro-ish, where players aren't loyal to a place, they just come and go. Jersey barely gets worn out before they've traded it for a new one with different colors.

Bo was just mad. He'll probably regret that interview in a week.

Anyone that says "One and Done" is ruining college basketball is a moron. In what way is it ruining the game? The only people that say that shite are the ones that can't get those players.

The one and done spreading beyond just Cal (Duke will have their fair share this season) is just another change to the game.

In reality, the one and done is pretty far down the list of things wrong with college basketball.

It's not killing Kentucky, it's killing the NBA.
