I wouldn't know who Avery Johnson was. I still didn't know who he was at the start of this search.

As a Spurs fan, CAJ was not my favorite guy in Summer '06, and as an Alabama fan, neither was Saban... needless to say I would have been positively THRILLED.

Nick Saban to AD.
I'd prefer him to coach until 2023ish though

I don't know, in the Summer of 06 I never would've been able to predict Saban and Johnson would be here.
