"frick that ****" isn't a racial slur
As much as some of you want it to be because of the perceived double standard of the word and the ignorance of the older generation of its mainstream usage among my generation, I'm sorry. While yes he should be penalized for saying it on NATIONAL TELEVISION and then showing poor sportsman ship, by no means was it a "racial slur".
Just like when the majority of white people use it, it's not a racial slur but due to the negative contotations and double standards of the word people paint it to be.
From my expierence of recently being removed from a football locker room and public highschool some of you are just grasping for straws through your own ignorance of the modern generation.
TLDR wasn't a racial slur but should be penalized for saying it on tv.
P.s. I'm sure Kaminsky hears it 24/7 in his own locker room which is why he proababy DGAF

Because from my expierence the older generation isn't used to it being used in a non negative way.

Go inside of Alabamas locker room and I'd put money the white dudes say it to the black dudes and vice versa and no one gives a frick. In public they'll deny it but that's just not the reality of it.

I'm not sure it had no racial context. I don't know the Harrison kid well enough to know (and I doubt anyone on her does).

People are only saying it's racial so they can treat this as get-back for the SAE debacle and cry "DOUBLE STANDARD DOUBLE STANDARD!!"

You would be incorrect. The white players absolutely do not say it to the black players.
