Battle said on Finebaum today that He wanted to announce that he was retaining Grant after January but Grant told him to hold off.

Yea, I think Grant was ready to move on. I'm not sure his heart was in it this whole season.

Yeah, I liked Grant. I just don't think he was cut out to be a head coach. That's not a knock on him, very few people are.

I like Nick King's game a lot. He was used horribly in Memphis. Highly rated kid out of high school.
