What's with all of this sudden UK-bashing? This conference once upon a time always supported its own, no matter the situation. Then A&M and Mizzou joined the conference, and now it seems like the SEC is imploding upon itself like their old Big XII Conference has been doing.

Well, I, for one, salute UK! S-E-C, S-E-C, S-E-C!!!

Yeah, Kentucky is awesome. Shame they lost, but goddamn, 38-1 is nothing to sneeze at.

Sorry UK fans. Was rooting for you.

Did the allies root for Hitler when he played a pickup game?

No!

Scruffy doesn't root for his enemies.

They kind of stopped being my enemy after we lost our game(s). If Arkansas can't ruin their season, might as well hope no one does.

What we really need is for more than one or two teams in the SEC to be consistently good, so we can piss off northern football AND basketball fans. So, for the sake of some good melts and pantie-twisting, I'm rooting for us all.

And before you know it, those "friends" stab you in the back.

Keep you enemies close, but keep your enemies closer.

Yeah, because they embarrass the shite out of the SEC. We were gay free before you faggies joined. The rant was also a lot better without faggie trolls. Even made the arky trolls worse cause they have to try to out troll you guys now

A lot of the youngsters who post here don't remember the days when SEC was supreme in football but this wasn't understood nationally. Think Auburn's undefeated non-NC season for just one example.

All they've known is supremacy in the sport that counts. This had in turn brought on an elitist mentality whereby we regard other conferences as inferior and consider games against schools from within our own conference as the only games that count.

That's the only reason I can see for this relatively new phenomenon.

I blame the SEC for Kentucky's loss. If the conference had pushed UK more during regular season their players would have improved more. UK was just so much better than the rest of the SEC that they improved at a slower rate than other teams. It's easy to say it was one game, and it was, anything can happen in one game. But ND pushed them to the brink also.

championship or not, this is one of the best teams UK has ever had. 38 wins is a record.

SEC love fest is the dumbest thing ever. I've rooted for every SEC team at one time or another depending on who their opponent is, but I'm not just going to root for them because they are part of the SEC.

Why ya trying to pawn this shite off on Mizzou and aTm? That's ridiculous.

Good luck with what? It's sports and I was thoroughly entertained by Kentucky and my own team. I'm thoroughly entertained by watching the other teams in the conference. Mission accomplished.
