Fact: Kentucky is not as good as their record

Kentucky is a great team, but the SEC is pillow fight soft.
UK has had 2 real opponents in this tournament, Notre Dame, which lead the whole second half and easily could have won.
And Wisconsin, who went toe to toe with them the entire game, leading most of it.
Kentucky this year was a legit great team, but not a team of the ages or anything.

That was actually pretty obvious all year. Great team, not legendary.

I mean obviously they weren't some unbeatable juggernaut like the media tried to make them out to be but their margin of error was much bigger than everyone else. It needed a great team like Wisconsin playing great to beat them.
