I'm curious to see if LSU leaves with a .500 record in SEC play. Bama's the longshot but if Bama wins 2 your both at 6-6 right?

LSU 5-4
Bama 4-5

all the new fun stuff in Birmingham is downtown

Hoover is a great place to raise a family and an affordable place to live but there's just shopping and the Met out there

I get that, but you made it seem like it was in montevallo or something.

Your definition of middle of nowhere is vastly different than mine.

I see what y'all are saying

The Met is in a place where there's not much to do

that should nail down my point a bit better

don't back down from your statement...Hoover is basically out of town. i agree with it being in the middle of nowhere.

People from Birmingham are so weird about their neighborhoods. And they talk to me as if I know or care. Oh, Irondale? Of course I know where that is, don't even ask because everyone in Alabama grew up in Birmingham you stupid frick

Very few people actually live downtown. Most of the bham residents are in vestavia, hoover, homewood, etc and the met is easily accesible from 459. Helena, alabaster, montevallo, etc...those would be "middle of nowhere".

I just thought the series and the fact that it's a must win for LSU to stay above .500 was the more interesting topic than the neighborhood the ballpark is located in but that's okay, carry on

New York state residents get this same thing in regards to NYC (my wife grew up in upstate New York, but people will automatically assume she lived on Long Island or Manhattan).

LSU will win the first two games & Bama will take the 3rd, resulting in an inevitable dogpile.

Posted this in the Tiger Rant, this RV park near the stadium is neat. Wish we had a RV Park like this next to Alex Box. Hope rain holds off later today

And LSU fans will start 700 threads bitching about said dogpile.
