Because it's so hard for an SEC program to win in the ACC.

I'm going:

1. Saban
2. Meyer
3. Jimbo
4. Briles
5. Dantonio

Nice top 5...

Looks like longevity wasn't much of a factor so I'd take (not in order) some combo of...

Patterson...

Harbaugh...

Helfrich...

and 2 of Miles/Spurrier/ Malzahn(with the other just outside)...

to fill out the top 10....

I mean, I hate that slimeball but he is 4-1 against his yearly SEC opponent... His last two years have also included a NC and a playoff appearance. I don't care what conference you are in that is still very impressive.

I bet they have Meyer (1) over Saban (2). That will get some hits on this forum.

That's pretty much a given. Get's the article extra readers from Bama, OSU, LSU, and AU.

He's brought FSU from mediocrity to a NC and a playoff birth in back to back years. He's going to be on the list

You're probably right. But Jimbo Fisher has slight mongoloidism and FSU is nothing more than the tallest midget. If they didn't' play the luckiest team in the history of college football (AU) instead of the best team (someone other than AU) they wouldn't have won a dam thing.

But they've got a banner and we've got another 2-3 loss season....

Unlike Briles, Patterson doesn't wet his pants in major bowls.

Agreed sir. Patterson has his teams ready to go for the big time games in January.

Regardless of what Briles has done with Baylor, they have been in the conference since 1996 whereas Patterson has gotten TCU to the top of the Big 12 in only their third season in the conference.

Gotta give the nod to Gary here.

FSU's 2013 roster was absolutely loaded. The could have beaten anyone in the country that year.

8-5
7-6
11-2
4-8
7-5

Our records since he officially took over from Bowden. One good team, and he got smashed at home.

My best guess at the top 7.

1. Saban-No doubt for SEC. Maybe iffy with Meyer for overall
2. Miles-Has a NC and continues winning
3-5- Malzahn, Richt, Pinkel- Really depends on what they value, but I could see any of these three guys being in these spots.
6. Bert- Up and comer, still needs to prove he can do it in the SEC
7. Spurrier- downward spiral. Has to hurt his ranking.

I don't think you know what that word means... FSU had the lead in the 4th quarter of that game IIRC.

He's 12-13 at Tennessee. I'm guessing that this ranking system, as opposed to some UT fans, are waiting until he actually does something at Tennessee before putting him in the top 25.

And that's not hating on UT, he could be there next year. I'm sure they just want results first.
