Damn, Saban needs Taylor really bad. Boosters visit girl and offer large sums of hush money to recant. Tells her she will be arrested to support she was lying but her lawyer will be top notch and the Alumnus judge will dismiss the case for insufficient evidence. Taylor is reinstated and all is good in Tuscaloosa.

Aaron Suttles, Bama beat writer: The people I have spoken to say that it's highly unlikely Jonathan Taylor rejoins the Alabama football team regardless of the outcome.

The media is smart enough to know that even a lot of women who are abused don't want to press charges. I am guessing the media will be skeptical of why this girl changed her story

I doubt this girl had even an inkling that this episode would blow the frick up like it did in the wake of the domestic altercation.

Not that it should have mattered, if he did indeed choke her and caused property damage, then I'm sure the investigators had every reason to arrest him and get her out of danger and to a safe haven.

What's done is done, it doesn't matter that she feels remorse and wants to recant her original claims.

Woman gets a used, REC pays her off and she recents story. She is arrested for false reporting and Saban may be able to bring JT back to the family.

Clearly this girl didn't want to be part of the circus

She was attacked by somebody and it became front page news because he was a football player. Now you have freak show fringe fans bothering you and your worst night being brought up constantly just cause he plays for Bama

It's not too hard to figure out why she didn't want to deal with this and sadly Taylor isn't going to have to face the law

he's off the team for sure but still

So at this point... Suttles ... The bama beat writer.... Is the only one tweeting this out?

Are there any other tweets or articles?

There's a certain bama fan on here who was arrested for DV, I'd love to hear him chime in

From the very beginning, Dave Grzyb told everyone who would listen that his daughter was the one to blame for the whole incident. He even made a personal call to coach Nick Saban, vouching for Upshaw's innocence and as a result, Upshaw was not disciplined by the team. Then after this morning's court hearing, according to the Tuscaloosa News, "Gryzb's father shielded her from news cameras at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse Wednesday morning. He turned around to yell "Roll Tide!" as they left the building."

It's only fair. Geno Smith is going to get 3 Strikes for DUI. So Taylor needs to get 3 Strikes for assaulting a woman.

There's a valuable lesson to be learned by both - - Walk the frick away from a car when you been drinking - - Walk the frick away from a female that's pushing your buttons and pissing you off. Just WALK AWAY
