Jameis Winston wont be in the NFL in 5 yeara.
I'll be amazed if he makes it longer than purple drank did. There's no telling the mischief he'll get into with truckloads of cash. It will be interesting to watch.

Why is Newton a douche? Is it because he won the Iron Bowl? He never seems to talk trash in the NFL and really seems like a stand up guy.
Newton said: "I see myself not only as a football player, but an entertainer and icon.''
"He was a total [expletive]," one AFC player told Prisco. "Who did he think he was? He acted like the big [expletive]. Here he was at his first game and he acted like he was the star. Guys didn't like that."
Total douche

The anonymous articles prove nothing. Is that the most you could find? From your second article yahoo,,,,
Various players told Prisco that Newton refused one player's request for an autograph and picture for his children at a pre-game function, and that at one point, Newton somehow "dissed" Ray Lewis. Lewis denied that happened, but others told Prisco that it did.
NONE gave their name. This was also 2012 when attacking Newton with anonymous non-stories still occurred. Lewis himself denied it happened. So he denied one person an autograph. Really.
ETA: As to calling himself an Icon that happened prior to even being drafted. What is wrong with that? Does that make him a bad person?

Oh please. He's a grade A douche if there ever was one. Remember how he would lie on the ground 2-3 extra seconds to gin up the drama? Or how AU paid $180K for him? Or why he got run out of UF when CUM was running a halfway house for wayward boys?? He's no Johnny football but he's no Peyton manning either.
While I'm waiting on you to produce the bagman to substantiate your claims, let's entertain ourselves by looking at what we can find for sale on ebay:

I'll agree that there's a lot of unnecessary shite-slinging about Cam Newton, but he got paid, just like all top recruits get paid. It's not like State offered him six-figures to come to Starkville but he said "nah, I'm going to play at Auburn for the college education and love of the game." He got paid. All the top players at every school get paid. So that "show me the bagman" stuff is just foolish.

State never agreed to pay him. Auburn did not pay him.

They are only comparable in that Winston is more of a pocket passer and Mariota is more of a runner. Other than that Winston is nothing like Luck and Mariota is not all that similar to RGIII.
ETA: Not when comparing them as prospects. There's much more to it than just physical abilities when talking about QBs.

So Cam Newton went to Auburn and played that one year with just his scholarship money and whatever money his parents put into his checking account?
Posted on 4/1/15 at 12:47 pm to BallstotheWesleyWall
He's a good boy.

Was Cam Newton paid? I don't know. Was he given improper benefits? Absolutely. We have to remember, he rode a scooter around Auburn during his time there. He was driving a Dodge Ram before he wrecked a couple months ago. He's not a very flashy guy...

I don't need to read stories about what other people say, think, saw, or accuse. You can watch him play and see that he's a complete arseclown. Every non Auburn fan agrees, and a good % of AU fans agree. He simply doesn't know how to act. He's a black Johnny Football that simply wasn't raised right.

I don't.

I don't either. I love the way Cam plays. He's a tough son of a bitch and is a leader on the field. He's the best college player I've ever seen, but don't tell auburnphan I said that.

Totally agree. He had the best single season I've ever seen. If he started at AU for 2-3 yrs he'd probably be considered one of the greatest college players of all time. And he is tough. I disagree on the leadership thing though. He's a winner and a freak athlete, but I don't see much of a leader...at least not the way I define it.
