Should I feel guilty for NEVER rooting for Bama and Aub?

I think whatever it is thats keeping you from rooting for bama can probably be easily let go and shouldnt consume you so much.

If the only thing standing between A&M and the SEC West division title was Alabama or Auburn, I know you swamp kittens would pull for the gumps or the war eagles, even it meant aforementioned school from the state of Alabama was going to Atlanta instead.

I couldn't even pull for Bama against Urban Meyer Ohio.

I have never in my life rooted for LSU unless they were playing Alabama, so I don't see any reason you should feel guilty

Nope, I try not to use the word hate, but strong dislike is appropriate. Too many times I have been disappointed in gump and barner behavior, attitudes and general "texas" type demeanor to ever hope that they have any sense of pleasure or pride in their school's athletic successes. I tolerate Florida way more than the "sweet home" state. I do not feel bad, shame or guilt at all during those times when the tide or plainsmen get beat by out of conference foes. The only good thing issuing from Alabama is the sugar white sand from Mobile/Tensaw rivers depositing onto the shores of Florida.

I'm pretty sure everyone in the conference hates bama for one reason, right now they're king of the hill. As for your spewing hatred of them, I don't think it's normal. I don't like bama, but I respect the product they put on the field.

As for auburn, they sure put a good butt whipping on our young team this year but I enjoy our series. It was their payback from 2011 curbstomping we put on them. Their fans aren't too bad, some a little filled with a false sense of self entitlement, but we have owned them for a while now, don't let their little jabs upset you, they're the pretenders in the stats of Alabama
