How can you NOT like this Kentucky basketball team?

They play the hell out of defense when most McDonalds A-A kids won't dirty their hands with it. They're as unselfish a team as you'll find. They don't act like thugs and clowns on the court...they show class. From interviews, they all seem like good kids. I don't care what you think of Calipari (I'm not crazy about him either), he's done an incredible job of making all these "stars" mesh into a damn fine basketball team, offensively and defensively. I'm not a UK fan, but I recognize and admire an elite team of athletes...and this is damn sure one!

I agree. And in particular, how are there so many "SEC fans" on here that are willing to root against them at this point? I assure you, UK fans don't pull against you in your bowl games. It's called conference pride. If you're not cheering for us now, you need to put aside any petty grudges you have against UK.

Never rooted for UK or liked them, so no complaints whatsoever if they drop one.

I love watching these kids play - I like Cal and the way he does things. He knows he's good and so do his players. They are a great TEAM.

They win by out talenting the opponent with 3 NBA 7-footers.
Teams can play a perfect fundamental game against them and still lose.
I'm sure they're good kids, I just don't think the ridiculous stockpile of NBA talent is good for the game.

Me too. I like the team and admire how they handle their business without too much chest thumping and trash talking.
I think Calapari and his track record of cheating have something to do with the fact that everyone isn't patting UK on the back 24-7.

I love this Kentucky team. Unselfish, full of talent, undefeated, they're awesome. Who doesn't like them?

I don't dislike UK. I also don't really know enough to know whether I should hate Cal on the basis he's a cheater.
I'll pull for UK hard going forward, just because I don't like the alternatives. But it's not like this is a scrappy UK team doing more with less. They're a dominating team and an example of the rich getting richer, which is not particularly endearing or anything.
