Too lazy to look it up, but wasn't the Rockets' 2nd championship in Jordan's partial season?

Correct. The Bulls went 13-4 in the regular season with MJ. That pace over 82 games would have been 63-19. They then won round 1 in 4 games and lost round 2 in 6. MJ averaged almost 32 a game in the playoffs. Partial season or not the Bulls were very good once he returned and he elevated his game for the postseason. Young Shaq and co were just better. Then the Magic got swept by Houston.

Major league baseball isn't going to discipline him, but the angels are trying to change that so they don't have to pay him. No to mention they kind of threw him under the bus

Freaking Angels. They are something else. I called it a few years ago when they went on their spending spree. I figured it would be 2-3 years before they were a blazing inferno of hilarity.

I feel pretty safe in saying if this were Mike Trout the Angels would have been fighting right alongside the Union to avoid a suspension. Maybe Josh should play better

Yes he does. Dude is an absolute pleasure to watch play the game. The rest of that organization just rubs me the wrong way though.

It's great to see so many fine young players right now. Trout looks to be the best of all of them.
If you get the chance to watch the Orioles' platinum glove 3rd baseman, Manny Machado, play, he'll impress you. He had season ending knee injuries the last 2 seasons. If he can finally stay healthy, he'll be a household name. Old time Orioles fans speak of him in the same breath as Brooks Robinson.

Wow. That is high praise indeed. You have another player I wish would have come on better with the rangers...Chris Davis. I always route for him.

Big 'Crush' fan here too. He was really bad last year, and then the Adderol suspension, because his scrip had run out. But he's got a new scrip and will be legally taking what he got suspended for last year. Go figure. He needs to produce this year. O's have had the leading HR hitter each of the last 2 years.

I lived in Chicago for a while. Have been to a bunch of games at the Friendly Confines. You really can't beat it in the summer time.

Yep! And Chris Davis comes back tomorrow. Today was the last day of his 25-game suspension.
Hoping not to have to wait much longer for gold glove catcher, Matt Wieters. He had Tommy John last summer. Played some in spring training but is still on DL.
