My wife asked me
We had only been dating a month and she bought a guitar for me. Luckily for me, it was a cheap acoustic, because she wrote "will you marry me?" on the front in marker.
I waited a year to buy the ring, and two more for the wedding.
Sunday will be 9 years.
I'm the luckiest man alive and I do piss standing up btw.
I do have a cheap acoustic that has never been played for sale if she wants it.....fwiw

My wife asked me....there's always a chance the other person will say no. Tell her to go for and you need to be there if her bf says no because rebound sex

Both of my wives (current/ex) proposed to me. I'm not sure I would have ever gotten married had I been able to slide.

My wife didn't ask me ..... She told me. It's been a short 17 years
