Hence the reason I said it. You aren't usually this much of an asshat. You're trying extra hard today.

The UT-aTm relationship is that of a 16-year-old girl and her father who doesn't let her do what she wants.

It's quite entertaining, to be honest.

What can I say, you have me figured out. The academic gap between Tulane and LSU taught me at a young age that some educational institutions are quite frankly better than other institutions.

No offense to South Carolina directly though, actually I thought I was being nice picking them. A program like Arkansas or the Miss schools with less than 3 million people in their respective states has a third the top ceiling value of A&M. But if I said a 3X multiplier yall would claim I was even being MORE arrogant, so I stuck to USC. Well that and the fact the under 5 million people demographic is a good proxy for another SEC state that is more relevant to SEC West fans.

Today is my shift of being the Rant's Arrogant Aggie Jester. I promise tomorrow when I am off-duty I will go back to normal levels of arrogance.

It doesn't change anything I said though. The SEC still favors us over most of its programs, and we are the last big untapped brand in the conference warchest.

Are you implying that LSU is our minority boyfriend who we are dating just to piss off daddy and daddy's second wife?

Because I might not disagree.

Nah. After you moved out of daddy's house because he wouldn't let you get new tits and that tattoo, you needed a new daddy. You found him, and he took no time making you his bottom bitch. So now you get to talk about your expensive new tits and those earrings that cost so much. At the end of the day, however, UT is still your real daddy and LSU is just using you for the money.

He went to Tulane?

Well that sums him up pretty nicely.

I tried, I really tried, but I had to stop here:

quote:

A&M’s 2015 ceiling is considerably higher than LSU’s, largely because the Aggies have so much room to grow on both sides of the ball.

Can someone explain how this can be?

Why is the ceiling necessarily higher just because they are so much lower?

Why doesn't LSU have much room to grow on both sides of the ball? Could it be because they're stacked with more talent? Is that really why their ceiling is lower, because they're stacked with more talent?

That just seems like an obvious reach...

...around.

I like the part where I talk about earrings, less the part where I talk about tits. Because gay Aggie and all.

the "chavis left because LSU had a bad offense" is a stupid saying and has become aggie "fact".

twist it anyway you want. it doesn't matter anyway. it makes you feel better.

Oh don't worry, it's not just you. This seems to be the mentality of 99% of the Aggy fanbase.

Clearly. I believe that Tulane, and even A&M are generally better educational institutions than LSU. And I think that most with a brain would agree.

However, your consistent and broad generalization that every single LSU graduate and fan is intellectually inferior to yourself and every A&M graduate and fan is ridiculous. In fact, many LSU and A&M fans end up working together, in the same positions, following college and beyond. LSU remains a good school to recieve an education.

Your constant postelitizing on the inferiority of LSU fans is tired. Quite frankly, it made a lot of sense to me that you grew up a Tulane fan. It has long been tradition for Tulane fans to claim intellectual superiority over LSU fans. If you can't win the football game you have to perpetuate a narrative that provides your delicate ego with some sort of moral victory. The parrallels between the old LSU-Tulane rivalry and the current LSU-A&M rivalry are interesting to say the least.

Do you even know why the official "insulting" name for us is Aggy instead of Faggie or something else? If you did you would know that sentence was hella redundant.

Well, if you're okay with only receiving a marginally better education than LSU for med school prices when you could get a much better education at more respected public schools in other states, then yeah, Tulane is great.

I think you're right, but I didn't mention money. In fact, I think the quality of a Tulane education isn't what it once was. Maybe it's just the fact that I live near by and encounter all of the dumbass northern college student rejects who just go there for the party.

God dammit GFaceKillah, do you have to get all serious on me like that?

Yes I know some LSU fans are WAY smarter than me, make WAY more money than me, and nail WAY hotter pussy than me. Heck somewhere there is a Texas Tech fan that fits the same bill, life is infinitely humbling that way.

With that said, my point is to force engaged discussion (like what I got from you in paragraph form) and on that metric NOTHING about A&M fans pisses off LSU fans more than our Texan arrogance. NOTHING. So that is the button I reach to press when I am lazy.

The truth is that LSU is full of salt-of-the-earth people who work hard and contribute back a lot to our society. Any success yall have had, including on the football field, was hard fought and well earned. That is why it drives yall nuts when the trust fund kid that is an Aggie pops into your life and acts like his birthright entitles him to more than what you earned.

At some intellectual level I appreciate that about LSU fans, as it is a complete change for us. Heck we used to be the humble ones. I like the tables turning.

But if you aren't secure enough in LSU's success to not laugh off the claims of an Aggie then maybe you are more unsure about LSU's position in the pecking order than you should be. Or at least that is my opinion.

It's more tiring than rage-inducing.

A lot of us have ties to Texas, and we hear more than enough in person about how stupid and poor Louisiana is.

I'm secure in LSU's success, but I won't lie that the last few years have been tiring.

But I wanted to give you a decent reply because that shite is seriously lacking around here.

The y is supposed to be the pluralized form of Aggies. It implies we are a cult of a single consciousness, instead of individuals.

And it is also an example of the exact kind of "too cute" jabs we will never get again until Texas is back on the schedule.
