What are they going to do with that big pole in the middle? Play around it?

I wish that VT would join the SEC.

Now if only they can get Eustace Conway to sing the national anthem!

This is the exact opposite of the football game held at that baseball field. Instead of unsafe field conditions, no one there is going to be able to see Jack squat b

I like it.
We should play FSU at Daytona sometime.
Or not.

Nah, you can see pretty damn well. It's not that big.

I've been to seven or eight different tracks and that's the best one for being able to watch a race. It's not like Daytona, Talladega, Texas, Atlanta, etc. It's even more compact than Darlington. Should be pretty neat, really.

Wow thats crazy. If there is goal is to break a record couldnt Tennessee just cut their seats in half again to raise capacity.

I wouldn't be surprised, Cocke County is pretty rough. I remember playing a basketball game in Hancock Co when I was in high school...their runout music as Dueling Banjos, and the fricking crowd was pumped when those banjos started...like really pumped. I was in absolute disbelief. We were city slickers to them.

There are some idiots in Alabama that want to play the Iron Bowl at Talladega.

Instead of UT-VT, they should two other teams and have a true double header. Just like they used to do decades ago at Legion Field when AU-UT would play during the day and UA-LSU would play at night.
