You're supposed to wish in fountains, not toilets.

Why do so many dislike Travis Ford?

We might as well start planning for a new coach...and Travis ford will not be it. You might want to dust off the google on his bio if you don't know why.

In a masochistic way, I've enjoyed this year's basketball team. And next year's team will be even more laughable. It's gonna be a knee-slapper.

Glad there is so muxh excitement for the future in this thread. Seems like KA has built a solid foundation. There is nowhere to go but up!

Well, most of the 'optimism' was based on 'there's nowhere to go but up'. But now 'there's nowhere to go but up' is starting to look like an unreasonable expectation...

KA just ran out of time. He will most certainly be fired at the end of next year. He literally won't have the time to develop the meager talent that exists and that he MIGHT be able to bring in.

J3 along with anyone else who decides to leave is the death blow. He should have NEVER been hired in the first place. What a friggin joke.

Don't worry everyone, now we will hold down the cellar for another year....nothing us Royals fans can't endure.

Then maybe we can get a legitimate coach.

Mizzou basketball is chernobyl, might not be safe for other teams to play them.

Mizzou will bounce back sooner or later... now it is just starting to look like later. There is no denying that is a big loss on a team that can't afford to lose quality players.

I can't really comment on how bad KA is as a coach. He might very well be Mizzou's version of John L. Smith, out of his depth and handed a horrible situation to make matters worse. Or he might be a decent enough coach at the right school.

He'll retire when he leaves Mizzou with his multi million dollar payout.

He basically won the Mizzou coaching lottery.

Listen here, buddy.

Puryear is the next James Worthy
VanLeer has Kyle Korver's game and Cam Phillips is a faster version of Rondo.

I know cuz I saw it on Tigerboard.

I just can't imagine ever pining for players like Rosburg. I'm sure he's a great kid, but my god he's terrible. I had hoped he would develop after seeing him as a freshman but he has regressed badly. Looking forward to when his eligibility expires so I can quit screaming at my television like a fool.

I hear ya. I'm just saying, if the dominos start to fall and we all of a sudden have to fill 5 more spots, can you imagine the low hanging fruit KA will have to offer to get to come to Mizzou if the so called prized jewels are like the 5th or 6th or 7th best players in the state. I can't even imagine who KA would get with that 8th commit for this class.

Rosburg has the skillz ta pay the pillz. I expect a huge year from him this year. Prediction: 15 pts 8 reb/game

He will lead Mizzou to an SEC regular season AND tournament championship.

However, his efforts will eventually come up short once we lose in the Elite 8.
