Much better coach and recruiter than Gregg Marshall. H will have Tennessee back in the tournament within 2 years. Great hire.

Good hire and glad they have acted fast.

Upgrade and a very safe, consistent bet for them. They may not reach elite heights, but they'll be a player year in and year out.

I would take the success and tourneys Barnes has strung together at Texas at my school anyday of the week. Solid hire! Better than some mid major that may or may not pan out when you have to play good teams night in, night out.

Was this Hart or the search firm?

Or did Barnes more than likely just fall into their lap by mutual default?

Tenn fans?

If by "standing around with thumbs up asses" you mean meeting with a top 10 coach and discussing parameters of compensation and basketball program control, then yes. That's exactly what they are doing.
