It's all made in Texas today. I remember grand dad opening a can with an opener before pull tops existed. First beer I ever sipped.

I tried to bring up the topic of "Beer Can evolution technology" in the drinking thread once, but the alcoholics went nuts.....

I remember seeing the pull-tops on the ground somewhere when i was little. Now you have vortex bottles that are suppose to send beer down your throat in a spiral pattern...and canned beer claiming to taste like draft beer, with mountains that turn blue when cold, etc.

Far out....

Don't forget adding a "shotgun" hole

I usually punched the "shotgun hole" after about number 6 or 8. Unless it was a stressful day at work, then I punched it once I hit the back roads to the house.

Knock it all you want but I've been putting a knife hole in my beers as a carb for past 12 years. Little prick by the seal does wonders.

In a bar in Memphis there was Pabst in a paper jug.

Here is one.

First beer I ever had - Neshoba County Fair, 1976 (and only *slightly* underage, being 5 at the time).

There's a bar in my neighborhood that sells Pabst by the bottle. If you guess the playing card on the inside of the bottle cap, the bartenders give you the beer for free.

Always enjoyed going over to Allen's in Normaltown nud afternoon. Had the coldest (and damn near only) PBR in the early 90's.
