Alabama defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor has been dismissed from the Crimson Tide football program, it was announced Sunday afternoon. Head coach Nick Saban released the following statement. "Jonathan Taylor has been dismissed from the team and is no longer a part of our program," Saban said in an email release. "This will still need to go through the legal process, but when he was given an opportunity here, it was under strict guidelines and we made it clear there was a zero tolerance policy." Taylor was arrested and charged with one count of domestic violence third degree assault and one count of domestic violence three degree criminal mischief Saturday evening, according to a Tuscaloosa Police Department media release. Taylor, 21, enrolled at Alabama in January as an early enrollee from Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.) Community College after being dismissed from the University of Georgia. He was also arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault and family violence while at Georgia, although the charges against him are still pending.

Since there has not been a similar announcement on Geno Smith, I assume Saban is keeping him even after his 2nd DUI arrest. Some zero tolerance policy

If Saban believed in Zero tolerance, JT wouldnt have been on the team in the first place. Saban is only concerned about winning football games, not being a man of principle

I can't believe anybody even takes the zero tolerance comments seriously, but I shouldn't be surprised on this board
