Wow. That sure didn't paint a flattering picture of his "dad." Shane's mother is to be commended for how he's turned out - his sperm donor seems to have been a non-factor, until now when he's poised to make bank. It speaks well of Shane that he's forgiving, but I sure hope he's as smart as he seems. Great representative of Mizzou, and I hope he has all the success in the world in the league.

now ESPN likes the "Rags to Success" angle but focusing on other details of the Shane Ray story would have been more entertaining. Like being the fat kid who one day outran everyone and having a former NFL star coach him to success even after he almost left Bishop Miege.

I felt bad for him when his mom talked about him crying when his dad no-showed his Mizzou signing party. I bet daddy-dearest doesn't miss the draft party.
