Thanks, Saban and Bonner. I love when my university is in the news.

I need a statement from Bonner/UA stating this student has been expelled.. yesterday. Should've gone to the jail and let him know. This goes way beyond football.

Bonner's statement:

Statement from UA: "UA is aware of the incident. The student has been referred to Judicial Affairs."

Too late to monday qb now. If you said this was a dumb move back then, then congrats but saying it now means nothing

I assume many believe now as they did then. I made my thoughts known as recently as yesterday before he was arrested.

I was no longer a fan of Bama football when the thug Pettway was allowed on the team. When Saban is gone(hopefully soon), I will revisit my decision to stop my financial support for UofA and for the football program.

I do still buy single game basketball tix.

Garbage. Grow some lady balls Bonner and kick him out now. He had a conditional acceptance I assume so it should be pretty quick/easy to kick him out.

I usually am very appreciative of sidewalk fans, but this is one case that they have been a detriment to the UofA.

I understand how sidewalk fans hurt the program, but this has nothing to do with them. It has everything to do with Saban and the administration allowing this to happen and knowing the risks involved. Now that it has failed so miserably, they must own it and revaluate.

None of us want Saban gone because of this. We want him to fix it and never allow anyone of such low character near this program ever again.

Just curious: Are you an alum/current student? It seems that most alum are on the side of not letting him in in the first place while most sidewalkers thought it was a good idea.

Count me as an alum that didn't want hin.

indirectly, but I admit I could be wrong.

I wanted Saban to seriously re-evaluate his priorities when he allowed Pettway back, I wanted him gone when he got Taylor. Nothing has changed for me, sooner he is gone the better.

Get off your high horse. I'll take a guess that the people in this thread have never hit a woman.

High horse? You guys are the ones talking down second chances like your shite doesn't stink. If only your entire life was played out in front of everybody like these "STUDENT" athletes.

BTW, I have never hit a woman, by God's grace never will and do not believe in a guy ever letting a woman get that far under his skin that he would be inclined to do so.

This POS is representing MY university. It is a privilege to attend and play football for the University of Alabama so you're damn right I'm gonna cast all the stones I want to.

1). It isn't just your university.

2). You have never played a down of football for that university (and considering you've never hit a guy, never have played a down past high school).

Sure, but the victim was a female with marks on her neck and a hole punched in the closet.

My entire family is alums of Alabama. I got a football scholarship elsewhere so I went there.

My family, like me believes in second chances. If you don't that is you.

Some people do the best with theirs like Pettway so far. Some completely throw theirs away like Taylor.

God didn't make me to ride above other men and judge them, so the mercy I like shown to me... I try to show to others. Food for thought.
