Please tell me that is not the Jonathan Taylor on the football team and this is a troll.

What a sack of shite.

I know Saban and Bama will catch a shite ton of flack over this but ultimately it is JT that's at fault. Maybe, hopefully this will force policy changes on admissions for prospects with questionable character. All though there should already be one in place that bars those with DA type charges.

There is/was absolutely no reason for Bama to take him or anyone with that type of character flaws.!

Saban is going to be heated the next time he speaks to the media.

We're an institution of higher learning not a fricking rehab clinic. Terrible move by both Saban and Taylor.

Saban took a kid six months after a DV incident without ever talking to Richt or the prosecution

This could be the beginning of the end for Saban. He will not like being questioned about this. It won't be pretty. Mark my words.

The first sentence is only half-joking.

No, I was raised right. Everyone, everyone deserves second chances.

Taylor fricked his up, but I'm not gonna condemn Saban for doing the right thing in giving someone a chance. I wouldn't condemn a pastor either.

IMO

Taylor fricked up, Taylor is the shithead. Saban? Saban isn't.

Saban is in the wrong. If he has credibility, he'll own this at Monday's press conference instead of going at the media. He blasted them for questioning him in the past, but they were right on this one.

You're deluded. He already had his 2nd chance, and Saban did not do his due diligence in this case, most likely intentionally.

He got a 3rd chance that he didn't deserve because he's good at football. We brought a threat to campus just because he could fill a gap in the 3-4. It was a disgusting move by Saban and our university and it's bringing more and more embarrassment.

Maybe everyone deserves a 2nd chance but playing D1 football at a place like UGA or Bama is a privilege not a birthright. You hit a woman and you forfeit that priviledge in my opinion. Want to play football again? You work to get admitted as a normal student at some directional school and walk-on to the football team. I'd rather see that scholarship go to a high school recruit who isn't a woman-beater.

This guy needs to be kicked off the team right now. He needs to get some help or put in jail before he seriously hurt someone.

How do you know who he talked to?

Anyway this thug was given multiple chances only because he's an athlete. Bama isn't hurting for recruits so he shouldn't have ever been signed.

Too late to monday qb now. If you said this was a dumb move back then, then congrats but saying it now means nothing. Saban will have to deal with the consequences. JT will be gone. This is the offseason and this will go away quickly. The team will move on. Im not going to sit here and wallow in this speck in time.
