With Michel's and Marshall's injury history, I'm thinking Turman is going to be a legitimate backup to Chubb. Period.
If Turman can stay healthy.
If Turman can stay healthy.

No, that was not me.
For my observations,
- Chubb was only in to practice pass blocking. never touched the ball. probably only played 8-10 plays.
- Turman and Douglas got all the carries against the 1's and 2's. both did pretty well, but for the most part the front 7's were holding up. Mostly short runs other than Turman busting a long one. Hicks was the rb against the 3's and just dominated those guys. Not surprising as most of the 3's defense were walk ons. Turman looked kinda slow, but when he gets downhill he's tough to stop.
- thought Ramsey looked really shakey at first. Threw a lotta balls into coverage. Think he started like 1/5 with two of those that shoulda been picked. Threw into pretty tight coverage a lot early on. Also had a couple balls hit the ground well in front of the receiver. however, he got better as it went on. Park impressed me the most, but he was going against a pretty week 3rd team d. also looked very mobile when under pressure. still not sure why he didn't get as many reps as the others. Bauta was solid. Super consistent and accurate.
- tight ends were a HUGE emphasis. Jackson Harris had a great game. Had one fantastic snag on his back shoulder that he turned into a big gain. Rome and Blazevich also did well.
- Receivers had a few drops, Mckenzie with a couple. Noticed he doesn't catch with his hands, always with his chest and had a few just bounce off him. JSW did really well, Mitchell looked good also. JSW mostly ran with the 2's though. The 1's were MM, IMac in the slot, and Towns at the other receiver. Again, tight ends over the middle was the most popular pass play by far.
- Isaiah Wynn was with the 1's at center as said earlier. The 2's had Jake Edwards at LT (I think), Kendall Baker at RT, Dyshon Sims at guard and not sure about the other 2. not positive on that though.

For defense,
- Bailey, Atkins (97?), and can't remember the other DE started on the d line. Lo Carter, Jenkins, Reggie Carter, and Kimbrough at LB. Parrish, Bowman (mostly star), and Davis at corners. Mauger and Sanders at Safety was the starting D. the corners subbed in and out based on the package
- Lo Carter is a freak. he was in the backfield constantly and looks ridiculously huge. JJ did well also.
- Kimbrough was all over the field making tackles. Couple of big hits on Douglas. didn't notice R Carter too much. Ganus and Amaechi played with the 2's. Ganus played great, had a pick and a sack. looked very fast.
- parrish played tight coverage on JSW a lot. wrestled a deep ball away from him for a pick early on that was a hell of a play. Sanders looked like his usualball hawking self. nearly had a pick or two. Aaron Davis looked physical. Jarvis Wilson looked good at corner for the 2's also.
- Ledbetter and Natrez Patrick played with the 2's and stuck out a lot. both got pressure multiple times. played very well. both look great physically.
- bout all I can remember right now. Marshall Morgan looked okay, had one kick blocked. pretty windy day though that made it tough. Keith and Sony both on the sidelines. Sony wasn't in a sling FWIW.
-overall, I would call it pretty even for defense vs. offense. all the qb's played pretty well so who knows what's gonna happen with that. lotta talent on defense when we get Floyd back and add in Trent Thompson.

I got to meet Coach Fox there yesterday. He had what a assume was a recruit with him. Good to see them working together in recruiting.
Murray was there as well and either I have shrunk or he seems taller. He is really a nice kid and good ambassador of our program.
I was talking and didn't see much of the actual scrimmage, but I can say that they seemed very intense and focused. The whole thing just feels very professional there now.

There were at least 4 people whose jobs were to keep people from going in from the Tate lot and/or watching from the bridge. Let your conscience be your guide.

Dallas, the one guy who shouldn't have had to edit, edited.
Yet here Gainesville is...... still scratching his head wondering what he did wrong.

Gville... In the future, just say you have a source.

Or just say you were a guest. There were plenty of what appeared to be extended family members there.
Posted on 3/29/15 at 10:35 am to Peter Buck
I mean we technically were guests. Some players invited us the day before. We didn't sneak in.
Posted on 3/29/15 at 10:36 am to Gainesville_Dawg
Then, that is what you were. No harm in that...
