7 people shot in Panama City this morning

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL (WSFA) -
Seven people were injured in a shooting in Panama City Beach, FL early Saturday morning, and authorities say the suspect and some of the victims are from Alabama.
According to a news release from the Bay County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement responded to the shooting at a house located at 5312 Thomas Dr., at 12:55 a.m.
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen described the scene as "chaotic." Authorities arrived to find three victims inside the house, one in front of the house, one in the median of Thomas Drive and two across the street.
Three of the victims were last listed in critical condition, three were in stable condition and one was still in surgery, according to the sheriff's office.
Bay County authorities said several of the victims are Alabama A&M University students visiting Panama City Beach for spring break.
The victims have been identified as:
•Kearria Freed, 20, of Mobile, was shot in the head; critical condition
•Anesia Powell, 20, was shot in the left arm, chest, and knee; in surgery at a local hospital
•Devanta Moore, 21, was shot in the chest; critical condition
•Jacole Young, 22, was shot in the back three times; stable condition
•Kelli Curry, 21, was shot in the leg; stable condition
•Tykeria Ethridge, 22, of Mobile, was shot in the neck and shoulder; stable condition
•Henton Franklin, 22, of Mobile, was shot in the side; critical condition
Authorities have arrested a Mobile man in the shooting and recovered a 40-caliber handgun matching the description of the one used in the shooting. David Jamichael Daniels, 22, has been charged with seven counts of attempted murder.

Had a friend robbed at gunpoint a few weeks ago while we were down there. It's starting to get worse and worse there around spring break.

Well that's pretty far down from the strip. There's never much reason to go past la vela eastbound, it's ghetto city
