He really probably does need some help. Getting two in such a short span indicates he has some issues. Hope he gets himself some help before he hurts himself or someone else.

I can understand keeping a guy on the team after one dui. Not learning from that mistake and then going on to get a second dui is stupid. We don't need stupid people on the team. Boot him.

It's really simple, just don't drive if you know you are going to drink. If you end up drinking when you didn't plan on it it's also really simple. Don't drive. Arrest problem solved.

Many states used to have .10 until MADD got the Feds to make everyone go to .08 or lose federal highway money

MADD wants to go to .05 nationwide now. it could happen in the next 5 years

In all honesty, that wouldn't hurt my feelings any. People should not drink and drive. Period. I have done it. Most people have done it. Far too many innocent people have died because somebody who thought they had not had much to drink got behind the wheel of a car. We are not known as the smartest creatures on the planet.

Huh? Seriously? Meaning you believe in aliens? Or bigfoot is a lot more intelligent than he looks?

Everything else you said was good.

So you think that aliens, human beings and bigfoot are the only three options, huh?

For smartest creature on this planet? Pretty much, yeah.

Don't get me wrong: I love chimps and bonobos and gorillas and orangutans and dolphins and such. Moby Dick is my favorite book; I'm down with them 'shparm whales'. For a minute once on shrooms I "knew" that amoebas were made in God's image and that we multicellular monkeys were at the very bottom of the plane chain. But seriously... Do you mind enlightening the rest of us? Which is it?

I just don't see it this way. But I also don't live in a rural area like you and plenty of others. I live in the city so no one I know drinks and drives. We just uber it everywhere.

Almost anyone who has driven over 20 years had driven drunk, high, on prescription meds, texting, while driving.

The guy probably has a drinking problem. It seriously affects your judgement.

I don't see any of them getting behind the wheel of a car and driving when they have been drinking. I have never heard about any of them going to a crowded mall, school, or anywhere else for that matter, and start shooting people........so I would say every one of them are more intelligent.

People that are going to get shite faced and drive don't worry about what they will blow.

You can go to zero tolerance and there will still be as many deaths and 10x arrests. Kind of like thinking gun control laws will stop gun violence.
