quick run down of results so far and then a highlight of what's left for today.

200 free relay- 4th
400 medley relay- 3rd, depending on nationality the top 2 teams broke the american record and the winner set the ncaa reecord. distant 3rd
50 freestyle- Kristian Gkolomeev 2nd, lost to a uf kid from my neck of the woods
200 medley relay- 2nd
100 backstoke- Connor Oslin 5th

we had 3 guys false start in the 100 butterfly, which is fricking ridiculous. today Kristian Gkolomeev is the top seed in the 100 free, Oslin looks strong to make finals or consols in the 200 back, Anton McKee looks to contend for swimming again tonight for points in the 200 breast, and our 400 free relay is seeded 5th. 22 points for making finals (top 8) and not dq'ing in that relay. it will take some great individual swims and a possible relay upset, but we could pass auburn. i'm not counting on it though... staying 9th would make me pretty happy. you can assume all of these are school records, minus the guy who finished 2nd in the 50. he set that at sec's. we are just absolutely killing it in the relays, it's phenomenal to see.
i don't know if it's the saban effect or getting jonty skinner back from that 25 year loan to the us olympic committee, but i like where my team is at and heading.
