That is all. The dude has proven in the past 5 years he is one of the most incompetent ADs in the SEC. All he does each coaching search is settle for his 3rd or 4th choice. He has two degrees from Alabama and is apparently committed to us being an average athletic department. Simply put, I do not trust the man at all.

The real story about this Tyndall thing that NOBODY is talking about is the fact that it appears Roll Tide Dave is going to be allowed to make another hire after nationally shaming us with not doing his homework on Donnie.

How the state of Tennessee, board of trustees and the power boosters are keeping Hart around any longer is beyond me.

I hope Mr O'Neil will remember, a Tennessee man doesn't need an Alabama man around anyhow.

I don't blame Hart for the Tyndall problem maybe he truly didn't know about what he was doing at Southern Miss but either way I agree I want him gone

The fact we are conducting our 2nd coaching search in one year is 100% on him. Apparently after we whiffed in White last year Tyndall was hired within a couple hours. I'm sorry but after following everyday Tennessee athletics since his tenure began five years ago, I've come to the conclusion Hart is simply an out of touch old man from Alabama with a narrow and antiquated leadership vision that cannot be trusted to run Tennessee athletics.

Under his leadership we will at best defend mediocrity, worst case is he sets us back 10 years.

As of a few months ago, I was thinking he wasn't doing that bad of a job with Tyndall looking like a good coach and Butch recruiting lights out and showing some improvement on the field.

Now, he will have a tough time after this debacle. I doubt he is very close to being fired though.

Hart's job is to know what Tyndall was doing at Southern Miss as part of making an informed hiring decision. He failed miserably in his vetting process. The blame absolutely falls on him for this.

He should've been fired during the same press conference as Tyndall's announcement.

Yea I've actually been a small supporter of his up TIL now but this is bullshite

I don't really give a damn about his ties to Alabama but given his track record otherwise I don't have a fricking clue how we lucked into Butch (and he still may not be a great gameday coach), I'm surprised we didn't hire Houston Nutt

I'm not gonna jump on the Fire Dave Banwagon quite yet but if he was shown the door I wouldn't be upset about it. I've always thought the problems with our admin are on levels that are even higher than Hart but no one else seems to notice that while we will just churn through AD After AD

He needs to kiss Butch Jones' arse. His getting lucky with that hire is all that is saving him now.

Sorry...if Doug Dickey didn't get fired for hiring Wade Houston, then Hart gets a pass for hiring Tyndall.
