I had held out hope that they would stay. They are moving to LA.

I'm sorry but the NFL has taken a dump on the football fans in St Louis for a half century with the absolute shite franchises that have been here.

Im sad and angry.

Meh...

Not if the city gets a good stadium proposal.

Several NFL owners have said that if the Rams present an NFL worthy stadium proposal they wouldn't approve a move by the Rams.

Last I heard they were set to meet in the next few weeks. Has something changed?

No.

And if they do, St.Louis will have done enough to build a stadium that we'll get another franchise.

NFL can't take away a team if we're willing to build a stadium.

Bull! The NFL does what it wants, and always will. Long GONE. The only question now is "will StL taxpayers build an empty stadium so they can kiss the behind of a billionaire in 2-10 years?"

I love the term "solid lease". StL is the rent-a-team center of the universe.

I have grown somewhat use to the Rams being in St Louis, but never seemed like a good fit. It's a shame you didn't have a better owner when the Cards were around. You had a unique situation with both the baseball and football team being named that. I liked the Neil Lomax era and rooted for the Cards back then.

St Louis should not be without a pro football team. I hope something can be arranged to keep the Rams there.

Pro sports teams are only as stable and committed as their ownership.

Yes they are gone.

And for the life of me I can't understand why anyone cares or continues to pay to see the shite they put on the field. They have been the dog shite that comes out of a dogs shite for 10 years? Horrible draft picks, rotating doors of top picks only to be wasted. We continue to see the talent we could have had turn into superstars. I'd be happy to see them get that piece of shite product out of town.

I'm not a fan and turn down free tickets all the time because I have no interest. At the same time, I can recognize the economic impact having a team has on the city.

Having said that, I don't see any way the Rams stay in town.

The NFL has said if STL has a NFL quality stadium there will be a NFL team. The dome is a piece, so it won't cut it.

I don't trust a word any of them say. I'll believe it when I see it. If Stan wants gone, he'll go and write a check to the league to pacify them. I'm making up numbers, but if simply moving turned my organization from being worth $900 million to $2.5 billion or more, it's hard to not make the move and then write a check to the league for however many millions of dollars.

Sounds great. Trade the second worst franchise of the last decade for the worst franchise of the last decade or more. Brilliant!

The NFL has already determined Kroanke will move to LA. Now they're trying to provide cover for that with their 'market evaluation' (some Rams season ticket holders haven't received the questionnaire) and moving up the timetable for a decision on allowing a team/teams to move to LA. The first can be spun whatever way they want to say a market can't support a franchise...and the second makes the steep climb to get all the ducks in a row for the new STL and Carson CA stadiums even steeper. Personally, I don't give a crap anymore if we have a franchise in STL-this league is a bunch of money grubbing asshats with no concern for fans except for how they can cash in on them.

I'll take the Raiders over no franchise at all.

I think the most likely outcome is we end up with no franchise at all.

That would certainly revive the Chiefs/Raiders rivalry.
