Insufficient talent. Is this true? Recruiting rankings would seem to suggest otherwise. Is he just setting the bar low?

Funny. I could say Jim McElwain's coaching is insufficient in a lot of areas too.

Freeze did the exact same thing before his first season. He was a no bullshite, here's how it is kind of guy. Told the fanbase to be patient. He even said after his first season was over that if someone had told him after he was hired that we would have won 7 games, including a bowl, he would have thought they were crazy. It's a good thing when coaches aren't sunshine pumpers.

Florida's program history consists of a little over 10 relevant years with Spurrier and a one night stand with Urban Meyer. Outside of that, Florida is no different from the MSUs and Kentuckys of the world.

He needs to, at the very least, make a bowl game and have the team looking better as the year progresses. IMO of course, but that would be a bare minimum.
